THE PETRI-NET (RAM) MODULE

The RAM-link is a powerful feature in supporting the What-module. Without adequate analysis within the RAM-module, the fundamental questions concerning complex power plants cannot be solved intelligently. RAM-studies may be accomplished in many different ways.

Dendrit utilizes a simulation tool, a special Petri-net version, called PACE.

PETRI-NET

Simulation tools have the great advantage that they minimize the so-called difference to reality (DTR). Definitively, it is only a device which imitates the complexity of real situations. However, it can not be overemphasized that, not as with other methods, where time dependencies cannot be modeled, Petri-nets have the capacity of creating models with phenomenal similarities to reality.
